HDR Artist Statement
The steps i used to achieve these photo's were i took the 3 different exposed pictures and layered them, fixed the lighting and made an HDR photo. The theme i went for was bright lights&colour. In each photo, the theme is played out by each picture having bight lighting in it. I chose this theme because it was an easy thing to shoot inside and a lot of places in the school have bright lighting.

HDR Photography Bio.
HDR stands for High Dynamic Range photography. The first HDR camera was made by Charles Wykoff. He created a camera that could shoot HDR images right away. The film had 3 layers each with a different ASA rating & produced 3 different coloured images. HDR photo's are achieved by taking 3 photo's of the same thing. one picture is taken normally, one is taken under exposed& the last is taken over exposed. Than after you have taken the photo's, you put them all into one. The source i used was photoshop & iphoto. I edited these photo's in my own way because i wanted to be different from everybody else, & take on a different approach to this assignment. I learned easy ways to make an HDR photo and how to take them.

Dreams Of Flying-Jan Von
Dreams Of Flying #1
This photo by Jan is adorable. It captures the excitement of Halloween&
shows the imagination children have. I like this picture because the colours
are dull but bright at the same time. The picture also has a great angle to it.
Dreams Of Flying #2
This photo reminds me of the movie UP. The balloons add so much life &
colour to the picture, it makes the boy's shirt stand out as well. The dark
edges around the photo put a border around the image & frames the
colours inside.
Dreams Of Flying #3
All the life& energy in this photo really caught my attention
because there is so much going on. the colours are bright, the way
this photo is angled just looks awesome. This photo is very living&
fun.
